I am thankful for the ones who do check this page.
I am at a snapping point, personally feeling totally overwhelmed. John has been extremely ill. It has taken all I have to give to try to take care of him.
I feel like we are getting attacked on every front and I am battle weary.
Everyone asks “how I am doing?” I am not good, just walking in faith – or at least trying to. Forgive me if I am too real – I am no super saint, no super spiritual person, I do not walk with my head in the clouds – I am just me, a real person dealing with real issues at a snapping point. And like always, I too will get through this and be ok. So if I snap at you or am too real, please forgive me and realize it is not personal – I am just walking on empty.
Pray for us.
Just Pat.

seriously praying for you
Dearest Pastors John and Pat, My heart aches for you as you journey through this season. Believing the Lord to raise up Pastor John with healing, health and vitality and that you, Pastor Pat will be encouraged and revitalized. And we do appreciate your realness and that you are human.
Grace and mercy with love and prayers for all of you.
Mike & Debbie
Don't hesitate to call if I can be of any help. J. Steed
Dear Pat,
This is an old friend, Wendy Bellis, please know that you are loved and prayed for even as I write my heart breaks for you. God led me to your page a few days ago and reminded me today to check on you and John since his recent surg.
God is with you even as the battle goes strong. These seem like age old words but I pray that there is life in these simple words I type. For you to know that you are not alone and that God is with you as well as some old friends that God has allerted to help lift you arms today. Please know that Craig and I love you both and have been praying for you and standing with you in this battle, even though you haven't seen or heard from us. Your church loves you, CI family loves you. Please give John our love as well. We are with you! Love, Wendy and Craig in PA.
Thank you for being honest and real. We are praying for you and if there's anything in the natural we can do, please let me know.
Sharon
Pastor Pat,
You are unconditionally loved regardless if you are up or down, sad or mad, joyful or crying...you are loved. Seriously Pat, I am at home during the day and would be very willing to help you and Pastor John any way possible even to give you a break to get out and do whatever. Evenings are ok too! Love and strength to you, Lori Dougherty 614-392-0372
Dear Pastor Pat,
I would just like to add our names to the list of people praying for you both, and willing to help out if you think of anything we can do.
I know the gall bladder surgery is supposed to be pretty tame, but Cherie just recovered from it. The first week was pretty rough, even without other health complications.
Just call us at 419-946-7888 if you would like us to do ANYTHING for you. Love, Cherie and Mike Smith
A big Thank You to all of you for the encouragements. Love, Pat
I know that feeling--it comes frequently to our household. Your frustrations are safe with us and to many, many more.
Fervent in prayer for your family,
Joe & Rachel Blevins
Pastor Pat, don't ever stop being real. That is what makes you so special. Believe me, when I say I know how hard this season is for you and Pastor John. We always hold the two of you up in prayer. We are believing for healing for Pastor John and strength for you. Don't try to do it all.
May God give you and Pastor John sweet restful sleep tonight and tomorrow a better and new day.
Blessings and Prayers Linda and Steve Pruett
These are difficult days and my heart hurts for you. I ask Jesus to refresh and restore your soul and to comfort you with His rod and staff.
How can I help? -Brenda L.
I thank you father God for your perfect peace to surround Dr. John and Pat right now. I speak to the waves that have continued to try to rage against them, and I speak peace to the storm! In Jesus name.
Take a deep breath. God is good, and He is God. We're praying for you.
Pastor Pat, Your "realness" has been a quality that I have admired so much, because it helps me to know that I can be real and live from my heart too and recieve that unconditional love, acceptance and support. I so believe in you and love you. Thank you for being you,
with love and admiration, Sand
I wrote an encouragement note and then did not know how to send it,,Ron Wilson told me this morning and so I am trying again...you know how very much I love you and Pastor John and your family. Grandma Dorothy
We love you too, Grandma Dorothy (and everyone else, too!) Several times I have been reminded of all the hours I spend with you at the Hospital. You are a great lady! Much love, your adopted daughter and family! Pat
Dear Pat and family, This is Annette. I know it has been a long time, but happened upon your blog and wanted to say hi and you are in my prayers. Your children have grown to be beautiful young adults. Amazing how fast they grow huh. Heather is 20, Clay 14, and Hanna 12 now. John, I am praying for you as you go through health issues and Pat I pray for you to have the strength needed at this time. I know it is hard and we all come to that "breaking point". It is so great to see you all and you all look wonderful. Love and prayers to each of you, Annette
