The cruise was great. Dr. John says this was the best family vacation he has been on. He enjoyed it so much that he would consider taking another cruise sometime.The staff were wonderful. I felt like I made a lot of friends on board, the pursers office staff were outstanding. The manager of the jewelry shop was delightful - she helped me pick out a Tanzanite ring for Abigail’s birthday and then another for myself. Joy purchased a ring for herself, too.
And the food was great. The servers in the dining room were very joyful and entertaining. We ate way too much food and enjoyed every bit of it. The cabin stewards did a top notch job. The maintenance worker was prompt also - I tried to turn off the cabin lights the first night and the switch went through the wall - quiet a shock. I probably laughed for 5 minutes straight. I thought "OK, where is the camera? This does not really happen in real life."
The weather was not the greatest - rain or fog most of the time - but who can control the weather?
I am so thankful we had two cabins with space to move around.
Dr. John has another treatment on Tuesday, 22nd.
