We made new friendships as well as connected with ones we have had relationship with for several years. We connected with a lot of great people.
We flew home bright and early Friday morning without any delays. On the way here we were stranded on DFW’s run way for a looonnngg time while a storm moved through. Thank you for praying for no delays on the return trip and safe arrival.

Soar up there with the eagles:-) Refreshment--what a wonderful thing. Traveling mercies to you both. We hope to see you soon.

Dear Dr. John & Pastor Pat, What a comfort to read that you were here in Texas, flying from DFW Airport. I live an hour from DFW and had I known you were anywhere remotely close by, I would have dropped everything to have visited with you! The weather was beautiful yesterday so hopefully your flight home went smoothly. I've learned the weather here can be "extreme" at the drop of a hat. I have yet to see the golf ball sized hail, but that's okay...I'll take these Texans at their word. I'm very thankful to hear that all is going well with you, Dr. John, and I continue to pray for you and your family. You guys are much loved and very much respected. I have many fond memories of our times together and lean on the teachings I've been taught by you about our Precious Lord. Though the road may be rough and rocky at times, the path is straight and well defined. Hugs to you all and God Bless you. Donna (Applegate) Myers
